Pink October’s Race for Awareness
Chances are you know of or know someone directly who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, this isn’t suprising since there were 182,460 new cases in 2008 alone as cited by the National Cancer Institute. The good news is that because of advances in medicine there are also more survivors now then ever!
The Geweke Caring for Women Foundation sponcers The 5k Run Walk Race for Awareness here in Lodi and Yuba City. Registration is only $10 and you can sign up online at Active.com All the proceeds go to honor the families, friends and survivors of those affected by breast cancer. Race Day is October 18th!
