Marathon - The Ultimate Training Guide

Amazon.com: Marathon : The Ultimate Training Guide: Books: Hal Higdon

This was an awesome book I have read it cover to cover and would recomend it for anyone out there interested in running. You don't even have to be training for a marathon, maybe you just want to be able to run 10 miles instead of 5 - this book will help get you there. It is choc full of helpful insight on training, nutrition and sound advice that I used to get me to the finish line of my first 26.2.

Stress Management

Stress Management

Are you listening to what your body is saying?

I think this site has a lot of usefull information not just on stress management but - on phsical and mental syptoms that we may not readily recognize as being stress related. It really gives some insight into listening to what your body is saying when something out of the norm is going on and how you can nurture yourself to get back on track. So instead of ignoring that irritating headache that keeps coming back, or taking pain medication everyday for a nagging back take a look at this and see if what is bugging you is coming from within.
